Job Summary
This position requires the ability to perform the following responsibilities in a safe accurate and timely manner in accordance with Safety policy & procedures Quality & the principles of 36QS and time standards. Good attendance is required.Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pull scan and stage product accurately for shipping
- Ability to scan pick slip into warehouse database and update to appropriate status
- Ability to use RF equipment to pick sale orders using varied operating systems
- Stage freight in designated areas
- Ability to inspect and operate various types of power equipment
- Willingness to be cross trained to perform other functions such as receiving and checking
- Responsibility for maintaining a clean orderly and safe work area
- Other duties assigned
Additional Job Details
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- 1-2 years successful warehouse/distribution experience
- Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks
Skills:
- Must have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner; ability to respond and re-prioritize as customer service needs dictate.
- Communication Skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization to include customer service sales finance employees and managers via phone email etc.
- Regular attendance is essential.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position requires sitting walking stooping bending talking in person and by phone or video visual acuity; the stamina to work the shift as scheduled and on a regular basis ability to work in a non-climate controlled facility with exposure to heat and/or cold in accordance with weather conditions lifting large small or awkwardly shaped items on a regular or repeated basis as needed; extensive use of computer or other electronics equipment.
