Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate ORAN Developer to join our cutting-edge wireless engineering team. In this role you will contribute to the development integration and optimization of Open RAN (ORAN) solutions for 5G networks working on disaggregated RAN components (RU DU CU) near-RT RIC and non-RT RIC and their interfaces (F1 E1 O1 O2 A1 etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and integrate ORAN software components (RU DU CU RIC platforms).
Work on RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) development including xApps and rApps.
Implement O-RAN interfaces (A1 E2 O1/O2) and maintain interoperability between disaggregated network elements.
Contribute to real-time and non-real-time RIC applications using standardized APIs and protocols.
Participate in network function virtualization (NFV) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD for ORAN components.
Perform end-to-end testing debugging and optimization of ORAN software stacks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for ORAN solution integration and compliance with 3GPP and O-RAN Alliance standards.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Telecommunications.
5 years of experience in RAN development with at least 1 2 years in ORAN systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C Python Golang.
Strong understanding of 3GPP protocols (RRC MAC RLC PDCP) and ORAN architecture.
Experience with E2 A1 O1/O2 interfaces and protocols (NETCONF REST gRPC etc.).
Hands-on with Kubernetes Docker Helm and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with xApp/rApp development on Near-RT and Non-RT RIC.
Experience with tools like FlexRAN OAI (OpenAirInterface) srsRAN or similar open-source RAN stacks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to cloud-native network functions (CNF) and service mesh.
Contributions to open-source ORAN projects.
Knowledge of AI/ML-based network automation in RIC.
Experience with system-level performance optimization and profiling.
