Job Description

Construction Quality Control Manager
San Diego CA

Full-Time / Direct Hire
About:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee civil construction projects across Southern California. This role ensures compliance with quality standards in grading paving utilities and structural concrete operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored Quality Control (QC) plans for each project

  • Perform regular inspections audits and material reviews to ensure compliance

  • Maintain thorough documentation and generate detailed QC reports

  • Review project drawings and specifications for quality and regulatory adherence

  • Collaborate closely with project teams vendors and inspectors to ensure quality objectives are met

  • Identify non-conformance issues and oversee corrective action implementation

  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards procedures and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • 5 10 years of QC experience in civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of paving utilities and concrete work
  • Familiar with regulatory codes and QA/QC standards
  • Excellent communication leadership and documentation skills
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid drivers license; bilingual Spanish preferred
