We are currently seeking a Tax and Account Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for a qualified and motivated professional with strong experience in accounting and auditing to join our growing team in Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic organization committed to excellence and continuous development.
What will my responsibilities be
- Coordinate and supervise the accounting of financial transactions in accordance with local and international regulations.
- Review and validate bank reconciliations accounts receivable/payable fixed assets and provisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Plan and conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
- Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings.
- Serve as the point of contact with external auditors during financial audits.
- Implement recommendations arising from external audits.
- Prepare financial and accounting reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Candidate Profile Key Requirements:
- Professional fluency in English both written and spoken
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing
- Previous experience as an auditor will be highly valued
- Availability and ability to work full-time from our office in Barcelona
