We offer a flexible hybrid work environment allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working remotely each week. This position is in Lincoln NE.

About the role:

Be part of a dynamic forward-thinking Worksite Group Voluntary Benefits team focused on providing an elevated client experience and comprehensive portfolio of life and supplemental health products striving to deliver total health and wellbeing to employer groups and their employees.

This role will be focused on working with brokers and outside partners to receive process and QC new business submissions of both life and health insurance elections from receipt to ultimate entry and list billing.

Below are some of the major job responsibilities:

  1. New Business Submission Processing
    • Receive review and process both paper and electronic enrollment data for life and health insurance elections ensuring accuracy and timeliness from submission to list billing.
  2. Collaboration and Coordination
    • Work closely with brokers sales teams Case Managers Group Onboarding Specialists and Field Technology Specialists to ensure smooth onboarding and setup of new groups and enrollment technologies.
  3. Quality Control and Issue Resolution
    • Identify and correct errors or rejected submissions coordinate with relevant parties to obtain missing information and ensure proper issuance and fulfillment of policies and certificates.
  4. Workflow and System Management
    • Manage assigned workflow queues provide feedback on system issues or trends and adapt to changes in procedures systems and guidelines.
  5. Compliance and Communication
    • Maintain strict adherence to privacy laws and company guidelines generate and review correspondence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Education Licensure Certification and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Life or Health Insurance operations and insurance agency background desired
  • Experience with insurance policy administration systems and data entry desired

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to evaluate large volumes of data for accuracy and adherence to established data formats
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively navigate within multiple systems while meeting established deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to accept responsibility for organizing assignments and workflow
  • Flexibility not only in work schedules but also in adapting to changes in systems procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to work overtime periodically as required
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Forward thinking with innovation in mind
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues; possess a helpful and supportive outlook
  • Ability to solve problems and react quickly in case of any urgent situations
  • Practice good work ethics and be able to lead by example
