Senior Vice President / Sub-Region Lead

Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Vice President / Sub-Region Lead at Worley is a key leadership position within the wider Americas Operations business. The individual will be responsible for leading the business across all facets of the operation including but not limited to people projects and strategy.
The Senior Vice President oversees overall business performance acting as key interface point in collaborating with the business support functions to ensure we are delivering near medium and long-term targets ensuring that the regions financial performance contributes to Worleys goals to be a global authority in sustainability solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Manage a large complex location with competing interests across multiple geographical areas whilst aligning to company strategy.
- Create meaning for our people embrace possibility and deliver what matters with care and courage
- Develop business plans and set objectives for the assigned area of responsibility contributing to company targets.
- Participate in broader strategy development with senior leadership emphasizing Worleys journey marked by change adaptation and growth.
- Develop and deliver attainable growth to achieve business outcomes driving ownership and accountability coupled with collaboration.
- Champion GID utilization and project excellence to achieve Worley business objectives.
Decision-Making and Problem Solving:
- Make high-impact choices based on extensive knowledge within the area of expertise considering the broader impact on the organization ensure a Worley first Worley wide view at all times.
- Assimilate information from multiple sources to derive answers and solve complex questions demonstrating a commitment to innovative and sustainable solutions.
Organizational Leadership:
- Provide organizational leadership with location/regional authority emphasizing Worleys role as a prominent delivery partner in energy chemicals and resources.
- Translate corporate goals into operational goals overseeing integration across the organization in a manner that reinforces accountability and autonomy within the team.
- Champion Worley values and behaviors to transform the way we work to achieve Worley success over individual success.
- Champion standardized process over location-based execution models to drive efficiency and cost savings at scale.
Communication and Presentation:
- Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to executive-level management and/or the Board ensuring alignment with Worleys purpose goals and promise.
- Adopt a participative management style with a cooperative team approach fostering collaboration in line with Worleys commitment to a more sustainable future.
Strategic Development and Commercial Acumen:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of broader systems processes and tools related to the field emphasizing Worleys evolution and growth over the past 50 years.
- Direct and guide the strategic development of new systems processes and tools reflecting Worleys commitment to delivering sustainable change.
- Exhibit strong commercial acumen with experience in various commercial contracting models risk profiles and project scopes/phases showcasing Worleys capability in driving innovation and sustainability across projects.
What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing country / regional operations including delivering financial results leading complex operations and upholding HSE excellence.
- Comfortable presenting at all levels within an organization from workforce on-site to group executive level showcasing Worleys commitment to collaboration and inclusivity.
- Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to drive collaboration and successfully engage with client executives senior management and other key stakeholders aligning with Worleys promise to be the industrys straight-talking partner.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial contracting models risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM & Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable etc.)
- A network of high-level key client contacts and credibility/ability to enhance customer relationships underscoring Worleys position as a prominent partner in energy chemicals and resources.
- Motivational collaborative and visible presence in leadership style with strong communication skills and the ability to develop a high-performance culture embodying Worleys commitment to collaboration and ensuring we do what is right over what is easy with a Worley first mindset.
Education Qualifications Accreditation Training:
Required:
- University Degree or equivalent in a related field or applicable discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
