You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Pathology is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to under general supervision provides technical and other computer/clerical support related to the accessioning and client service functions of an outreach reference laboratory. Performs a variety of triaging tasks related to receiving and processing client specimens through to University of Iowa Health Care laboratories for complex testing in an efficient manner. Act as a liaison with clients and laboratory staff to coordinate specimen preparation transport and complex testing.This position is 100%-time Monday- Friday from 0800-1700.

Desirable Qualifications:
MLA(ASCP) certification or eligible.
Biological science coursework i.e. Anatomy Biology etc
Familiarity with UI Health Care policies and procedures
Healthcare experience
Customer Service experience
