Job Description
System Engineer L2
Working 9AM to 6PM SGT (Mon to Fri). Holidays as per Singapore
Role and Responsibilities
Staff should have experience in server and storage Hardware design and deployment. Implementation skills starting from racking cabling start-up OS installation patching. This applies for any server brand and model. Troubleshooting skills for post setup.
Knowledge in Software deployment and patch management procedures including server patching with virtualization
Knowledge in RMM tools to manage customers servers & other IT infra
Experienced in enterprise backup software implementation starting from infra design installation and configuration.
Experienced in virtualization platform like VMWare & HyperV & others
Vendor management and project handling skills
Additional experience/tasks:
Methodical approach to problem solving and resolution.
Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements schedules and priorities.
The ability to socialize ideas make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
Must be effective in communication both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization; develop procedural documentation; develop and conduct effective presentations.
Related Technical Certification with at least 3 years relevant experience
Able to work under stress and irregular hours
May require to be at customer site assignment (scheduled days of the week)
Requirements
Degree in IT or relevant field.
Minimum three (3) years to five (5) years of IT experience with three (3) years of server storage &backup infrastructure deployment troubleshooting or administration experience.
Equipped with Microsoft/AWS Cloud Certification
Experienced infrastructure project implementation & troubleshooting
Linux skills and certification is advantageous
