Role Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving partner acquisition and revenue growth for Verko a digital platform that connects suppliers contractors architects and end-customers in the home-construction ecosystem. The role is predominantly field-based requiring frequent travel within the assigned city to meet suppliers contractors architects and prospective homeowners onboard them to the Verko app and promote value-added services such as design packages contractor selection and material sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and visit building-material suppliers contractors and architects.
- Demonstrate Verko app features and register partners on the spot.
- Collect KYC documents product catalogues and pricing details for upload.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to secure repeat business.
- Pitch referral schemes seasonal promotions and loyalty programs.
- Coordinate joint marketing activities (site boards co-branded flyers etc.).
- Engage end-customers (homeowners) through site visits local events and leads generated by the call-centre team.
- Present Verko s design contractor-selection and material-procurement services.
- Prepare basic quotations / proposals and close sales with clear hand-off to the service-delivery team.
- Update visit outcomes and lead status daily in the CRM / mobile app.
- Collaborate closely with the in-house call-centre to ensure prompt follow-up on warm leads and appointment scheduling.
- Monitor competitor activities pricing trends and new construction projects in the territory.
- Share actionable insights with the Branch Sales Manager to refine go-to-market tactics.
Minimum 12th Pass; Graduation (any stream) preferred.
0 5 years in field sales channel sales or business development. Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome.
Fluency in Tamil and English (spoken & written).
Valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the city/region.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proven ability (or demonstrable aptitude) to persuade present value propositions and close deals.
Comfort in interacting with diverse stakeholders suppliers contractors architects and homeowners.
Confident in using Android/iOS apps CRM tools and basic MS Office/Google Workspace.
Clear concise and customer-friendly verbal and written skills.
Energetic self-motivated and driven to exceed monthly onboarding and revenue goals.
Quick to address objections coordinate resources and propose win-win solutions.
Ability to plan routes prioritise visits and maintain accurate daily activity logs.
Desirable (Good-to-Have)
Prior exposure to the construction / building-materials industry.
Familiarity with partner referral programs or channel incentives.
Knowledge of basic design / BOQ / estimation concepts.

High performers can progress to Senior Sales Executive Territory Lead or Channel Manager roles.
Main Responsibilities: Design, analyze, and construct structural elements of buildings and other structures. Develop detailed structural plans, specifications, and calculations using engineering software such as STAAD PRO. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure structural designs meet project requirements and specifications. Review shop drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with design plans and specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and resolve any design or construction issues. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to structural engineering. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed. Ensure all work is completed within budget and project timelines. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis, with a focus on steel structures. Extensive proficiency in engineering software, particularly STAAD PRO. Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience working in the UAE is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
