Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Sr. Project Manager leads cross-functional teams to deliver projects across business units focusing on supply chain data analysis and process improvement. This role manages project scope schedules budgets risks and resources throughout the full project lifecycle to ensure timely and successful delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and motivate project teams to meet goals and deadlines.
- Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to deployment.
- Oversee planning vendor coordination communication scope budget and risk.
- Report on project milestones risks and issues to leadership.
- Solve problems creatively and collaboratively.
- Help establish project management standards and tools.
- Create detailed project plans and estimates.
- Set and manage expectations with stakeholders.
- Deliver reports proposals and presentations to various audiences.
- Ensure projects meet scope schedule budget and quality standards.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 10 years of project management experience including tracking and planning projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional experience includes:
- 7 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
- 5 years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
- Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time on-schedule and within budget
- Experience leading motivating and managing various project and program team sizes including internal and external resources while holding team accountable for performance
- Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
Preferred experience:
- 5 Years related experience in Supply Chain Sourcing/Procurement or Operations with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various manufacturing or business methodologies that support that lifecycle
- Proven track record of improved performance in Supply Chain functions
- Experience in implementing supplier improvement programs
- Project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams along with exceptional collaborative skills
- PMP Certification
- Six Sigma Certification
