Job Description
As Staff Services Maintenance Person at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge your care and attention to detail will focus on the well-being of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodges employees and residents. This role has an integral impact on the satisfaction and comfort or residents in colleague accommodation.
Starting rate of Pay: $27.96 per hour
Reporting to the Housing Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment and furnishings within the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Housing Department
- Responsible for responding to maintenance calls from staff housing department
- Responsible for preventative maintenance and work orders assigned
- Responsible for daily inspection of fire prevention equipment
- Respond to any emergency calls while on duty
- Responsible for the upkeep and condition of all equipment both permanent and portable for the requirements of their job
- Ensure that all work orders assigned are completed in a timely manner.
- Work to be completed within an alternating schedule as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Related maintenance experience required
- Must possess a Valid Alberta Drivers License
- High School/Technical School diploma
- General knowledge and/or experience of most building trades
- Knowledge and functional use of Microsoft Office
- Ability to troubleshoot in an un supervised environment
- Flexible scheduling a requirement
Additional Information :
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
