Field Manager / Construction Manager - Directional Drilling
TekCom Resources is seeking a Field Manager / Construction Manager with extensive experience of Directional Drilling.
You will be the got to Construction manager managing Subs General Contractors and crews in
Loudon/Ashburn VA Data Center Alley.
Previous expertise with HDD(HorizontalDirectional Drilling) is a must.
This is a contract role with the possibility of becoming a direct hire.
Role:
What will catch our eye:
At least 3-5 years of underground construction experience; Telecom/utilities construction with previous managerial and directional drilling experience. Directional Drilling is a must have .

Role:
- Manage Subcontractors GCs and crews
- Experience with UG OSP construction
- Making sure equipment operators and installation crew are following safe construction principles.
- Assisting with location and verification of utilities prior to work.
- Keeping projects on schedule and ensuring quality of underground installation work meets company standards.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders on potential issues and pass that feedback along to Construction and client as needed.
- Participating in the training of incoming team members under your supervision.
- Perform quality control on the work being performed and ensure crew compliance with company standards.
- Work with other members of the team on ensuring adherence to progress schedule occasionally passing information along to management or clients.
