Our firm is a growing General Contractor in the Vancouver area respected for delivering high-quality commercial residential and institutional projects. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team and uphold our commitment to excellence safety and client satisfaction.
Salary Range: $110000 - $150000 per year commensurate with experience plus a comprehensive performance-based bonus structure.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager you will be the central figure ensuring your projects are delivered successfully. You will have full ownership of the project lifecycle from pre-construction to final handover. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion ensuring compliance with contract documents schedule and budget.
- Developing and meticulously managing project schedules budgets and progress reports.
- Serving as the primary liaison between clients architects engineers and subcontractors fostering strong professional relationships.
- Leading project meetings and ensuring clear consistent communication among all stakeholders.
- Proactively identifying assessing and mitigating project risks.
- Negotiating and managing contracts subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Championing a culture of safety on-site ensuring all health and safety regulations are rigorously followed.
- Providing strong leadership and mentorship to project coordinators and site personnel.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of 3years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a focus on projects in the Metro Vancouver area.
- A degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a diploma in Building Technology is highly preferred.
- A proven track record of successfully completing multi-million dollar construction projects on time and on budget.
- In-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code local bylaws and standard construction practices (e.g. CCDC contracts).
- Exceptional leadership negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore MS Project) and the MS Office Suite.
- PMP Gold Seal Certification or active candidacy is a significant asset.
- A natural ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions under pressure.
