Enterprise Account Manager

An Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) is responsible for managing maintaining and growing a targeted client base. In this role you are paired up with an Enterprise Account Executive and working together to satisfy the customers needs. You will ascertain their needs by probing maintaining strong relationships proactive account management outstanding customer service; in addition to driving sales targets. Acting as a dedicated account manager EAMs become a consultant negotiator and partner to their existing customer base.

There are growth opportunities as well; most reps that start in this capacity eventually move to a Commercial Account Executive role or Vendor Sales Specialists roles.

The Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) is a strategic inside sales role specifically aligning to Softchoices largest most active and profitable customers. Our EAMs align with our named Enterprise Account Executives and carry some of the highest sales quotas in the company while managing the fewest customers. Legendary customer service is key as these customers demand the highest level of service knowledge and skill in our Sales organization. Our EAMs take on high responsibility and risk in managing such complex customers and have a much higher degree of exposure. You will work to both maintain and grow our existing relationship while diversifying the business and growing wallet share. You will be tasked with assessing their needs by fully understanding their business and asking the right questions maintaining strong relationships proactive account management outstanding customer service; in addition to driving sales targets. Acting as a dedicated account manager EAMs become a consultant negotiator and partner to their existing clients. EAMs are responsible for managing the day to day tasks associated with supporting the client while also working daily with the aligned Commercial Account Executive to manage the more strategic opportunities. EAMs provide more information collaboration and value to our large Enterprise clients than any other in a like role due to their higher skill set and experience level.


Were looking for people who:

  • Will successfully manage the day to day relationships within the existing customer base and manage new business development.

  • Will achieve and exceed personal Gross Profit sales targets/quotas.

  • Can find/create incremental business opportunities and drive closure within the dedicated customer account base.

  • Will grow the numbers of vendors we are selling into our Strategic clients.

  • Can perform complex contract management.

  • Can consult with dedicated clients and assist in overcoming business problems they face by utilizing our resources and presales teams.

  • Can effectively facilitate interaction between customers and vendors/manufacturers.

  • Will promote use of Softchoice services offerings tools and technology (SAM AOI etc.)

  • Assist your aligned Enterprise Account Executives with lead generation..

  • Provide proactive purchase history reports cost saving reports and trend analysis.

  • Build and provide an asset management strategy to your customers.

  • Attend and action all available product and licensing training.

  • Can Understand and deliver our Softchoice value proposition

  • Will learn how all Softchoice Go To Market Strategys align with your clients business

  • Can prepare and deliver presentations to both the client and strategic vendors

  • Will attending onsite customer meetings with your team members or alone based on customer need.


As our ideal candidate youll also have:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience

  • Minimum of 3 years customer service

  • A high level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Strong learning agility and proven ability to pick up new skills quickly

  • The ability to work both individually and in a team environment

  • The ability to work in a very fast-paced sales environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools - Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Teams

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred
