Position: Assistant Principal: Curriculum
Start date: 18 August 2025
Employment Status: Full-Time (5 year Contract)
Salary: $145401 - $152543(pending experience) 12.75% super

What we are looking for:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Principal: Curriculum to join the staff of St Brendans Catholic Primary School Mackay commencing on 18 August 2025.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for applicants demonstrating deep commitment to Catholic education who actively participate in the faith life of their parish and who have strong teaching experience academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
As a member of the schools leadership team the Assistant Principal: Curriculum (APC) will influence and have responsibility for long and short-term goals and directions in teaching learning and curriculum. Additionally the APC provides leadership in areas delegated by the Principal in the APC duty statement.

- is willing to provide leadership in areas delegated by the Principal in the APC duty statement and can lead in ways that are consistent with
- the message of Jesus and the Gospels
- Catholic church teachings principles and values
- Diocesan policies and directives
- The Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton Charter
- Catholic Education Mission and Vision Statements policies practices and strategic directions.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
