The Eugene Executives Association is seeking a new executive director. EEA is abusiness organization that was formed for the purpose in being to help through mutual effort to strengthen and expand the financial interest of each member in every ethical and effectual way possible. This position will have the opportunity to work with the mostesteemed business community of Eugene and Springfield. Hours vary by week and will not exceed 35 hours/week.

Financial planning and management

  • Monthly full cycle bookkeeping duties including preparation of quarterly member dues and specialmember assessments.
  • Maintain all current and permanent records of the Association
  • Work with the President and Treasurer to prepare monthly financial reporting packets and the annual budget.

Program planning and member services

  • Maintain all membership records on the website and provide information for members whenappropriate.
  • The Director will be required to learn each members industry and keep his/her ears open toknow when and how to provide useful information as leads to the membership.
  • Provide onboarding and schedule regular visits to all new member firms
  • Coordinate with the President Elect and the Election Committee to provide timely elections and pertinent information to the members.
  • Attend all Open House events and manage the welcome table

General Meeting Duties

  • Coordinate and maintain a schedule for each Thursday meeting including all speakers.
  • Work with the board of directors on preparing the weekly program including set-up/clean-upand other support necessary for the smooth running of the meeting
  • Record attendance at each weekly meeting
  • Be available for membership before and after each meeting
  • Gather leads and produce newsletter each week
  • Learn the names of each member and understand each member business

Committees

  • Attend each committee meeting providing an agenda before and minutes after each meeting (approximately 2 per month one mid-day and one evening)
  • Will attend all meetings and coordinate all information and logistics needed per the operationsmanual.

Website/Social Media

  • Keep all member and company information current on website
  • Ensure that content on EEA website is secure
  • Explore input from members & outside resources for best practices
  • Social Media duties yet to be determined.

Event Planning

  • Work with committee members to create budgets plan and execute four larger events during theyear including a Summer Fun Day Winter Dinner Show and two Past Presidents Dinners


Full cycle bookkeeping experience preferred
Microsoft excel and word proficiency
Familiarity with or open to learning social media management
Ability to communicate effectively as needed with IT contractors
