A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join a growing forward-thinking business based in Pocklington. Due to the location access to your own transport is essential. In this key role youll be responsible for capturing analysing and reporting data to drive supply chain efficiency biological asset management and commercial decision-making.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with hybrid working available following completion of the probation period. Salary ranges from 35000 to 42000 depending on experience..
More than just technical skills this role is about making data meaningful communicating insights clearly and effectively to people across all levels of the business from hands-on operational teams to senior leadership. The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Optimisation youll generate data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions and improve business performance. Youll be working on innovative projects in a sector where data is transforming the way things are done helping to shape the future of food production.
What Youll Do
- Ensure accurate and timely data capture across the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting tools.
- Integrate data from multiple systems (e.g. HubSpot CTS ScotEID Xero).
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or gaps.
- Build real-time dashboards and performance reports using tools like Power BI.
- Translate data insights into clear actionable recommendations across departments.
- Provide predictive analytics to support supply chain and commercial planning.
- Track sustainability metrics including GHG emissions.
- Champion data accuracy and best practices across the business.
What Youll Bring:
Essential:
- Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting data analysis and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Excel SQL Power BI (or similar tools).
- Experience automating data collection and reporting.
- Confidence presenting data and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple data sources and spot opportunities for improvement.
Desirable:
- Experience in the food manufacturing or agri-tech sectors.
- Familiarity with systems such as ERP HubSpot (CRM) and Xero (finance).
