Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician in Clifton New Jersey. The technician is required to read and comprehend work instructions for mechanical and electrical assembly of Final Assembly hardware and successfully perform these hardware builds. Candidates may perform small-scale intricate work or medium-scale heavy work. Candidate must be proficient with the use of torque tools and must be familiar with schematic diagrams. Position may be on 1st or 2nd shift.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to successfully complete electronic hardware builds.
- Able to read and comprehend work instructions.
- Proficiently use torque tools and must be familiar with schematic diagrams.
- Ability to work independently with some supervision.
- Positive attitude and willingness to try new methods of performing work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- 1 years experience working in an electronic assembly environment.
- Technical knowledge of electronics assembly fabrication a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to present ideas and data to a group.
- Works collaboratively with other team members as needed.
- Demonstrates personal accountability for all work performed.
- Attention to detail.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $21.79 - $32.58. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
