Job Description

Mount Alvernia Academy a Franciscan Catholic elementary school is seeking a part-time School Cafeteria Manager. Hours: Part-Time 3.5 hours per day (four days a week)Lunches Served: Approximately 100 students (Grades K6)Position Summary:The School Cafeteria Manager is responsible for preparing serving and coordinating one daily hot lunch option for approximately 100 elementary school students. This position ensures that meals are nutritious timely and compliant with safety and sanitation Responsibilities:Plan and prepare daily hot lunches in accordance with the schools menu and nutrition meals efficiently and courteously to students in Grades proper portion control and maintain consistency in food a clean and organized kitchen and cafeteria area including dishwashing and sanitation inventory and inform administration of needed food and supply compliance with local health and safety regulations and school with school staff regarding student allergies dietary needs or lunch :Previous food preparation experience (school or institutional setting preferred).Knowledge of food safety and sanitation to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended organized and able to work certification (or willingness to obtain) residency or work visa submit cover letter resume and three letters of reference (references will not be called until we receive permission from the applicant) to Mary Ferrucci at
