Starting Rate of Pay: $16.82
Shift Available and Hours: First Shift 5AM 1PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various equipment such as mills punch presses deburring wheels benders saws specialty machines turning centers milling centers and hand tools.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper guards are in place and notify the supervisor or lead of any safety concerns.
- Perform basic equipment set up.
- Read and interpret measurements using various gauging equipment including digital calipers micrometers protractors and custom gauges.
- Visually inspect workpieces before and after machining for defects.
- Accurately and promptly maintain all job assignment records both on paper and in the computer.
- Perform quality control checks during operations.
- Properly dispose of all scrap and waste materials.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Understanding of safety quality and production processes.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
