St. Vincent Pallotti is a coeducational college preparatory school of 430 students with a diverse student body located in the historical district of Laurel MD. As a school our strengths are our family-like atmosphere and our commitment to providing the widest possible array of curricular and extracurricular programs in a small school ideal candidate will provide targeted math and ELA instruction to 9th graders who require additional support to meet grade-level expectations. He or she should be knowledgeable about appropriate methodologies for teaching students with learning differences. Additionally the candidate will provide academic support to 9th-12th grade Learning Center students. This role involves collaborating with teachers administrators and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student to include:oTeach one Algebra I class that includes review of Pre-Algebra concepts (MS/HS level)oTeach one English Language Arts (ELA) MS/HS leveloSupport Learning Center students (1:1 and small-group support)
