Position: Financial Analyst III (multiple positions available)
Location: Miami FL
Multiple Positions Available:
senior leaders through financial insight generation to help them achieve business goals and accelerate business growth.
directly for business leaders and cross-functional teams to present results of ad hoc business and statistical analysis and recommendations to senior management for optimal decision making.
with Vice President and/or Director and Category/Business Leaders in setting profitability business expansion and product selection goals.
in hiring developing and mentoring peers and team members. Seeks and leverages diverse perspectives in all activities.
business and financial forecasting and spreadsheet modeling by writing complex SQL queries to gather the financial and operational data needed for the analysis and using advanced excel spreadsheet modeling techniques.
and measure financial and operational performance on a weekly basis with business team and report to senior management using financial and operational metrics including performing ad-hoc audits of the financial metrics used for data accuracy.
solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models interpret data draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results drive improvements and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact.
and automate reporting of key performance metrics and analysis to achieve business goals and drive cost reductions.
on monthly close process working closely with accounting to ensure the validity of the financials and report results to senior management.

11. Conduct financial statistical and business analyses using a broad range of tools and technologies such as Excel Cognos Tableau and SQL.

A Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration/Management Finance Accounting Economics or related discipline and 5 year of experience in financial analysis or consulting. In the alternative a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration/Management Finance Accounting Economics or related discipline followed by 7 progressively responsible years of experience in financial analysis or consulting.
Experience must include:
1)Financial and business forecasting and analysis using statistical data mining and/or business intelligence tools (equivalent to SAS Oracle SQL IBM Cognos BI or Essbase).
2)Advanced Excel spreadsheet modeling (linear optimization using tools excel solver automation/VBA or related advanced spreadsheet techniques) to aid managerial decision making.
3)Managing finance driven projects including project design budgeting and implementation.
4)Reporting and presenting business analysis and recommendations to senior management or clients.
