**This position is contingent upon contract award**
Experienced Systems Security Administrator responsible for maintaining the stability security and performance of an organizations IT infrastructure.
Essential Functions:
Server management network management backup/recovery managing user accounts patch management security software firewalls and intrusion detection systems as well as responding to security incidents and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues
Demonstrated experience configuring and managing systems including servers and workstations
Demonstrated experience with security tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) antivirus and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System)
Demonstrated experience implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures
Demonstrated experience with vulnerability management and patching systems
Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware operating systems and software
Demonstrated knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP and the OSI model
Demonstrated knowledge of security concepts like firewalls intrusion detection systems and encryption
Additional Requirements:
US Citizenship
Must be able to work shifts as assigned
