Project Title
Quality Engineering Internship Digital Product Definition
Project Overview
This 12-month internship offers an exciting hands-on opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in supporting our efforts to acquire Boeings Digital Product Definition (DPD) certification. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain valuable insights into digital dimensional inspection processes quality assurance requirements and aerospace standards.

Main Project Deliverables
- Assist in the documentation review and analysis of processes related to Digital Product Definition compliance.
- Collaborate with internal team and customer representatives to ensure requirements are met for Boeing DPD certification.
- Prepare and organize reports presentations and supporting documentation for certification reviews.
- Support the development and implementation of corrective actions to address any discrepancies identified during the certification process.
Learning Outcomes
- Real-world experience auditing and updating critical facilities infrastructure documentation.
- Practical exposure to Quality Engineering standards QMS and TipQA Quality Engineering Software.
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication with engineering safety and operations stakeholders.
- Foundational understanding of manufacturing QMS and the quality engineering lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications
- Currently in final year of school or within 1 year of graduating with Bachelors degree or greater in Quality Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
- Currently holds3.0 GPA or hire.
- Available to work 30 hours per week.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
- US Person per ITAR regulations and able to comply with export compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of QMS principles and aerospace industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Exposure to infrastructure or facilities-related projects.
- Experience with QMS or ERP software is a plus
Compensation Data
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
