Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit including GO Expansion Light Rail Transit routes and major expansions to Torontos subway system to get people where they need to go better faster and easier. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario.

Are you ready to modernize how HR data is collected shared and used to drive strategic decisions We are looking for a Manager HR Analytics & People Insights to lead our journey toward a data-enabled HR function.

Reporting into Director Workforce Strategy & Insights the Manager HR Analytics & People Insights will be responsible to lead and manage the integration of people data and insights into a cohesive business intelligence program. This role delivers robust enterprise-wide reporting and analytics capabilities that support informed strategic decision-making with a clear focus on human capital.

You will guide the modernization of HR data infrastructure oversee the transition to a new analytics platform (Visier) and foster a data-driven client-focused culture within HR and across cross-functional teams. This role acts as the steward of HR data and governance ensuring consistency integrity and accessibility of HR information across the enterprise.

What will I be doing

  • Develop and implement a people analytics strategy that will modernize end-to-end advanced HR analytics.
  • Oversee the enterprise-wide implementation of Visier ensuring seamless integration with HR strategy and systems.
  • Establish a business intelligence program including self-service dashboards and predicative modelling that identifies trends patterns and root causes in complex datasets and translates findings into strategic insights that support human capital decision-making.
  • Design and implement predictive analytics models to forecast future people outcomes and make sound recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct advanced analyses using a variety of best-practice methods to support the identification and resolution of workforce issues.
  • Establish a governance framework for the definition of HR data and metadata elements in addition to creating standards policies processes and controls.
  • Build a high-performing team that emphasizes data storytelling client service and strategic insight
  • Drives continuous improvement and standardization in core HR processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs translate complex data into clear compelling narratives and make recommendations that improve organizational health and business outcomes.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need

  • Completion of a degree in a related discipline such as Human Resources Business Administration/Management Organizational Management or a combination of education training and experience deemed equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in people analytics predictive modelling statistics experimental design data management and data visualization
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated project management skills for large-scale projects and initiatives
  • Ability to translate transformation strategies into execution plans and activities
