Job Description

Riverton Surgery Center is looking for a Central Processing Tech to join their team! The center provides great patient care in partnership with local physicians Intermountain Health and Surgery Partners. Job Title: Central Processing Tech

  • Disassemble clean decontaminate and disinfect surgical instruments
  • Assemble protect wrap contain peel pack and label surgical instruments
  • Sterile instruments and equipment
  • Pull case carts for next days cases
  • Clean troubleshoot and correctly use CP equipment
  • Perform and record all biological and chemical equipment
  • Issue sterile supplies to using areas
  • Perform inventory duties as required
  • Verify that all sterilization processes have been completed and met parameters before making equipment available for use

Minimum qualifications: Must attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) within one year of hire date
