Job Description
Riverton Surgery Center is looking for a Central Processing Tech to join their team! The center provides great patient care in partnership with local physicians Intermountain Health and Surgery Partners. Job Title: Central Processing Tech
- Disassemble clean decontaminate and disinfect surgical instruments
- Assemble protect wrap contain peel pack and label surgical instruments
- Sterile instruments and equipment
- Pull case carts for next days cases
- Clean troubleshoot and correctly use CP equipment
- Perform and record all biological and chemical equipment
- Issue sterile supplies to using areas
- Perform inventory duties as required
- Verify that all sterilization processes have been completed and met parameters before making equipment available for use
Minimum qualifications: Must attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) within one year of hire date
