Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their team in Alexandria LA. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing specialized care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. This role offers a strong starting base salary loan forgiveness and the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a scenic area of Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hematology/Oncology care to patients
- Participate in clinical trials and research activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Ensure high-quality patient care
Schedule and Shift Details
- Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-12pm Flexibility for 4 day work week Call is 1:2 1 week call at a time not heavy call no hospital call 80% Outpatient 20% inpatient 70% Oncology 30% Hematology Most imaging and labs are done onsite Oncology - even split between breast colon lung prostate Hematology - sickle cell and leukemia are shipped out
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Valid Medical Doctor (MD) in Louisiana (LA)
- Valid Board Certified
- 1 years of experience in ALL of the following:
- Hematology
- Oncology
