Position Overview
We re hiring a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) to provide clinical assessments therapy and treatment planning for clients in behavioral health settings. This role includes supervising direct care staff coordinating care ensuring compliance and delivering services both in-person and via telehealth using evidence-based approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments including initial intakes and biopsychosocial interviews to form diagnostic impressions
- Provide individual family and group therapy sessions using recognized modalities such as CBT trauma-informed practices and EMDR (if certified)
- Design and routinely update Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) to align with each client s specific goals and strengths
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all clinical activities in the electronic health record (EHR) including notes assessments and treatment plans
- Monitor client progress regularly and make treatment adjustments as necessary
- Respond to behavioral crises with therapeutic de-escalation and non-medical intervention strategies
- Collaborate closely with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated high-quality services
- Participate in clinical discussions team case reviews and quality improvement meetings
Qualification
- Master s degree in Psychology Counseling Social Work or a related behavioral health field.
- Fully licensed in Virginia as LPC LCSW LMFT or equivalent LMHP designation.
- Minimum of 1 3 years of direct clinical experience with individuals or families experiencing mental health challenges.
- Experience working with children adolescents and/or adults in outpatient or community-based settings.
- Preferred (but not required):
- Trained in EMDR CBT Solution-Focused Therapy or similar.
- Prior experience with Medicaid documentation and authorizations.
