Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Data Entry Specialist
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Data Entry Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting clinical operations by managing and updating patient documentation within our systems. The ideal candidate will assist in creating charts uploading documents to patient records and ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately maintained and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain patient charts within the system
  • Upload relevant documents to patient records in a timely and accurate manner
  • Access clinic Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to gather and verify patient data
  • Review schedules one week in advance to ensure all required documentation is completed and no records are missing
  • Maintain up-to-date records of patient scheduling and report any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure proper documentation workflows
  • Assist in identifying and resolving any documentation gaps or issues

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in healthcare or administration preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of EMRs or willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
