Job Description

Ready to make a real impact Were looking for a BTM Sales Specialist to join our Behind the Meter team! Youll turn warm leads into happy customers by offering smart solutions-focused advice on solar home batteries and more.

From first chat to post-install support youll guide customers every step of the wayhelping them power up their homes with the latest in consumer energy tech including EV chargers down the track. Its all about great experiences and greener choices. In addition to this you will be;

  • Actively engaging in sales opportunities to enhance customer experiences and drive sales
  • Answer customer inquiries (by email or phone) and basic problem solving for all consumer energy devices (such as solar battery & EV chargers) and provide level 1 advice
  • Co-ordinate with other teams both internal to Intellihub and partner companies to move customers through the funnel from lead to conversion.
  • Address customer inquiries troubleshoot issues and provide guidance on device operation and maintenance.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Update systems for all customer interactions installations and payments.
  • Update customer service processes and procedures to support customer service.
  • Provide input customer communication templates and scripts.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment and contribute to continual improvement in quality and performance at Intellihub by complying with all relevant policies and procedures

Qualifications :

To succeed in this role youll bring a strong customer-first mindset a passion for helping others and the drive to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Were looking for someone who can confidently connect with customers provide tailored advice and manage multiple tasks with ease. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced customer sales and service environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Super organised ability to prioritise tasks manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is a plus.
  • Good technical knowledge of solar panels and home battery systems is an extra bonus but as a minimum capability to learn and absorb technical information
