Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Morning Care Assistants to join our team in Egham United Kingdom. As a Morning Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents to start their day comfortably and positively.
- Assist residents with their morning routines including personal care dressing and grooming
- Prepare and serve breakfast ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Help residents with mobility using appropriate moving and handling techniques
- Monitor and record residents health and wellbeing reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Engage in friendly conversation and provide emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Administer medication as directed by senior care staff following proper protocols
Qualifications :
- Genuine passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic approach
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness to assist with residents mobility needs
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to commute to Egham for early morning shifts
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not required
- Basic understanding of elderly care or disability support would be advantageous
- Willingness to undergo necessary training and obtain relevant certifications
