Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Health registered nurse looking for flexible work that fits your lifestyle Whether youre balancing study family or other commitments we have opportunities for Primary Health Registered Nurses to join our team in a casual capacity.
Join us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by:
- Working in collaboration with the primary health care team to ensure a multidisciplinary coordinated and integrated approach to service delivery.
- Participating in the assessment planning and implementation of care based on individual detainee needs incorporating a holistic approach to primary health care service delivery.
- Undertaking a wide range of clinical duties including but not limited to immunisations blood collection wound dressings health assessments care planning medication administration health promotion and education etc ensuring care is evidence-based and delivered using clinical guidelines and practice to underpin competency.
- Providing proficient evidence-based chronic disease management.

What were looking for:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Relevant qualifications and experience including minimum 5 years experience
Strong communication and clinical skills - Commitment to person-centred care
- Availability for casual shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Experience working within a detention or correctional setting will be highly regarded
