Job Description

The intern chosen for this position will gain experience in aspects of the environmental health and safety program for the Londonderry NH location including but not limited to:

HSE (Health Safety and Environment)

  • Supports the management of environmental occupational health & safety at all responsible locations.
    • Audit/Compliance Inspections (Fire Extinguisher Inspection Ladder Inspection Eye Wash Inspection etc.).
    • Hazard Communication Standard compliance.
    • Assist in maintaining HSE training programs to satisfy specific regulatory and Bosch requirements and to improve overall environmental safety and health performance within the company.
  • Assist in the development implementation and administration of environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor activities where accidents could occur halting any operation or activity that constitutes an imminent hazard to personnel environment or equipment; Investigate incidents using methodical problem-solving techniques to identify root cause.
  • Support the creation of and participate in local Emergency Response Team / Safety Committee meetings.
  • Perform other essential and related duties as may be required.

Facilities & Security

  • Maintains vendor services for regular items such as cleaning landscaping etc.
  • Provides contractor review onboarding and oversight of work activities.
  • Works closely with facility associates to address concerns and requests.
  • Support site security manager with maintaining evaluation of the physical space.
  • Support operation of site security system and access management systems.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College and pursuing a Bachelors degree in a HSE/Facility Management related program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Knowledge of Federal/State Safety and Environmental Regulations.
  • Knowledge of Environmental and/or Safety & Health Management Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with minimum supervision successfully.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Emergency Response Planning.

Only local candidates will be considered. This is an on-site opportunity in Londonderry NH

Internship will be 20 hrs per week.
