Job Description
The Challenge
Responsible for the execution of all auto-electrical functions and the reliable safe execution quality maintenance repairs condition monitoring fault-finding of diesel driven Earthmoving Equipment in accordance with OEM prescribed standards regulations procedures and methodologies to achieve optimum equipment availability reliability and process efficiency objectives.
Qualifications :
The Ideal Applicant
- Grade 10 with Mathematics Science and E in English. AND
- Pre 1993 Auto Electrician Trade Diploma with N2 Certificate OR
- Level 4 Auto Electrician Trade Diploma with 4 theoretical subjects at Level3 OR
- Post 1994 Level 3 Auto Electrician Trade Certificate with a pass in at least 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3
- The above Qualifications should be NTA accredited.
- Code 08 Drivers license (Manual Transmission).
- Added Advantage Valid Code C1/C Drivers License (Manual Transmission)
- Post apprenticeship two years experience as an Auto Electrician Artisan in the mining industry with knowledge of EMVs and equipment
- Computer literacy.
