Job Description
The post holder will be joining an experienced specialist Infrastructure and major projects contractor who have a number of projects currently in the North. Capitalising on their growing reputation expanding client base and strong position.
As the need for ensuring compliance grows it has been identified that a dedicated role focusing on Major Projects and Infrastructure
Qualifications :
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality Engineer or Quality Manager role within large-scale infrastructure pipeline or energy sector projects.
Proven background in pipeline construction QA/QC including trenchless technologies (HDD auger bore) welding inspections coating systems and pressure testing.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualified with the ability to manage audit processes and maintain quality systems to international standards.
Understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.8 BS 4515-1 API 1104 ISO 21809).
Competent in reviewing and compiling quality documentation such as ITPs method statements and quality dossiers for mechanical completion and handover.
Familiarity with Civil Engineering QA processes particularly for works relating to access roads AGI/BVS foundations and reinstatement scopes.
Strong experience managing subcontractor quality deliverables and driving resolution of quality issues in a high-paced construction environment.
Qualification in welding inspection (CSWIP) NDT (PCN) or mechanical engineering background advantageous.
