Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
(1) As a member of the central IT team at Bosch you will be responsible for delivering an on-premise cloud infrastructure utilizing OpenStack and Ceph within Boschs data center serving as the foundation for Boschs internal cloud platform offerings.
(2) Embrace the philosophy of Automate Everything and Everything as Code: Streamline the entire lifecycle of all cloud infrastructure layers and implement the Infrastructure as Code paradigm to document and manage multiple cloud instances effectively.
(3) Design and develop the infrastructure portfolio extension by utilizing OpenShift Virtualization and GPU capabilities.
(4) Establish OpenShift Bare Metal clusters to support upcoming OpenStack releases utilizing an operator-based control plane.
(1) Education/Knowledge: Holds a degree in computer science systems/software engineering or a related field and has 10 years of work experience in the corresponding areas (senior Linux / container / on-premise cloud administration in enterprise grade environments). Possesses solid knowledge of technologies such as Linux and OpenShift/Kubernetes. Familiarity with OpenStack OpenShift DataFoundation and Ansible is advantageous.
(2) Experience: Senior level knowledge (10 Years) in Linux administration and troubleshooting hands-on experience in the administration and deployment of bare metal OpenShift clusters. Demonstrates expertise in automating the management of multiple OpenShift clusters at an enterprise level (RHACM and ArgoCS knowledge would be helpful).
(3) Personality: Demonstrates a high level of personal responsibility motivation and a commitment to continuous self-improvement. Capability of working independently and making informed technical decisions. Willing to collaborate within an agile interdisciplinary international and virtually organized DevOps team. Fluent in both spoken and written English with strong communication skills.
