Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiology (IR)
Location: Robbinsdale MN
Shift Type: Varied
Shift Details: Days & Evenings 80 Hours per 2-Week Pay Period
Hours/Day: 8
Weekend Requirements: Weekends by Rotation
On-Call Requirements: Off-Premise Call
Salary Range: $36.93 - $52.57 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures in a safe efficient and professional manner. The role supports a diverse patient population across all age groups and requires adaptability and clinical competence in high-acuity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology imaging exams and procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Apply sound critical thinking and clinical judgment during procedures.
- Identify and appropriately respond to emergent situations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients.
- Effectively utilize imaging and hospital computer systems in daily operations.
- Communicate professionally with physicians colleagues patients and families.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred.
- Current state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Prior experience in interventional radiology strongly preferred.
- Ability to work varied shifts rotating weekends and take off-premise call as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
