- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
- Clearance Requirements: National Crime Information Center (NCIC) with fingerprints and Drug Screen
- Estimated Compensation: $42.19 - $53.86 per hour (negotiable).
- Type of Employment: 20 to 40 hours a week depending on student needs/caseload.
- Relationship: 1099 Independent Contractor.
Summary of Duties
New Orleans Louisiana (OLA) Public Schools is seeking Licensed Independent Contractors to provide school-based physical therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Contractors will deliver direct and/or related services in accordance with federal state and local regulations governing special education.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Must hold a current Physical Therapist license in the state of Louisiana.
- Certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) preferred.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students as identified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and participate in the development of IEP goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with educators families and related service providers.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
