Job Description
About the Client:
Our client is a Tier 1 contractor known for its delivery of high-value data centre and mission-critical projects across Southeast Asia. With a strong track record and repeat clients from the hyperscale tech industry they are committed to engineering innovation safety and quality. The company provides a stable and rewarding environment for engineers who want to grow in the booming data centre space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and monitor detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate with the project team subcontractors and consultants to align the master schedule with site activities.
- Track progress and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and look-ahead schedules.
- Identify potential delays and risks early propose mitigation plans and support fast decision-making.
- Assist in resource planning material tracking and work sequence planning for smooth execution.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project timelines milestones and changes.
What Were Looking For:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of planning/scheduling experience ideally in data centres industrial or large-scale infrastructure.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing critical path method (CPM) and progress tracking.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Proactive analytical and deadline-oriented.
- Willing to work 6 days/week and be based full-time in Johor Bahru.
