Job Description

Title: Certified Physician Assistant - Spine

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday through Friday; Additional night and weekend hours are required.

City: Bettendorf

Position Responsibilities:

In this position youll be responsible for performing physical examinations on spine patients formulating diagnoses and treatment plans providing education compiling medical data and consulting with a supervising physician as needed. Youll perform injections aspirations arthrograms and more. Additionally youll be responsible for ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x-rays making diagnoses assisting physicians in clinic and coordinating both pre and post-surgical care. This role is entirely clinic based and youll be responsible for direct patient care in the clinical setting. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a Certified Physician Assistant with ORA youll play a hands on role in getting our patient population back to what moves them.

Requirements:

This position requires you to be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with an active and unencumbered Iowa and Illinois license. You must be up to date and current on your CME credits licenses and board certifications. We would prefer at least two years of previous Certified Physician Assistant experience in an Orthopedics setting but it is not required. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately.
