Shift: 6AM-2PM Monday-Friday


Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring an IT Support Specialist to acquire and support the IT equipment and services that our clinics need. We treat CMS employees as our customers and provide timely accurate and professional issue resolution services. A successful IT Support Specialist excels in a fast-paced team environment and possesses excellent communication skills. They have a high degree of technical aptitude supporting software hardware and networking disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent task management when ordering and staging all equipment for installations and modifications/upgrades.
  • Provide execution strategies for the installation maintenance modernization repair and replacement of medical clinic IT equipment to ensure reliability and compatibility.
  • Provide on-site technical support for clinic IT assets to include staging new assets for installation and/or cutover.
  • Receive tag distribute and track all IT hardware inventory and apply maintain and update Property Barcode tags on new and existing company IT equipment.
  • Maintain enterprise IT equipment spare pools and other PC hardware for rapid deployment to medical clinics.
  • Identify and provide description and specifications for repair parts utilizing Service Desk tickets


Requirements

Qualifications:

Education Certification and Experience Requirements

  • Process clinic equipment orders and track assets throughout the project cycle.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of IT assets during the project cycle.
  • Support Office 365 user accounts and licensing.
  • Support ISP network and phone contracts.
  • Support national Copier contract in alignment with the hardware life cycle.
  • Windows OS hardware/software/licensing.
  • IT enterprise warranty maintenance and support management.
  • VOIP Phone systems.
  • Hardware procurement and asset management
  • Creating and maintaining documentation
  • 1 years experience working for a health care provider preferred
  • 1 years hands-on IT Support experience.
  • 2 years experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10
  • Great customer service skills under tight deadlines
  • Proven skills in PC repair troubleshooting deployment and decommissioning
  • Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
  • May require lifting or carrying desktop computers up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to travel on short notice
  • On call responsibilities are required


Tools and Equipment Requirements

  • The ability to use a phone computer printer and copier is required.
  • Frequent use of Microsoft office products including but not limited to Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to use the internet and various web browser software is required.


Physical Working Conditions and Office Setting Description

  • Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
  • Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
  • Requires prolonged sitting standing frequent bending stooping or stretching.
  • Some lifting may be required.
  • Frequent and prolonged typing and frequent and prolonged operation of computer keyboard and telephones required.
  • Requires occasional use of fax machines telephones copiers and other office equipment.
  • Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
