You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Sustainable Energy and Transportation Specialist works closely with the Energy Manager on energy-related projects that result in energy savings/GHG reduction energy performance improvement on campus and maintain formalized TRU Energy Management System according to ISO 50001 standards. The Sustainable Energy and Transportation Specialist will work closely with Environment and Sustainability and Facilities staff to make sure getting the maximum incentives of ongoing or potential energy projects.
This position will also work closely with the Manager of Sustainability Programs to support transportation-related projects and activities and is responsible for the overall coordination of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs and services at TRU. This includes running programs data collection and management performance reporting coordinating audits and investigating new initiatives.
The Sustainable Energy and Transportation Specialist should be familiar with the 2013 TRU Campus Master Plan and TRUs Campus Strategic Sustainability Plan. They will conduct their duties and responsibilities in accordance with each plans mission goals and objectives; with special attention given to the energy and transportation-centric aspects of each plan.
