Clinical Counselor Pool
The Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) department at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool position is responsible for providing short term individual couple group triage outreach consultation and crisis counseling. Therapists are expected to provide at least 60-65% of their time providing direct service to eligible CSUSM students per Executive Order 1053.

Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in thispoolad will only be good for the current academic year. Thispoolwill be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year you will need to apply to the newpoolas it becomes available by June 15th.

This position requires the incumbent to participate in the Exposure Control protocols for Student Health and Counseling Services under the CSUSM Medical Monitoring Program. Incumbents shall be required to receive an annual influenza vaccination or wear a mask while working in patient care areas as outlined on the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency website
