As a Radiology Tech heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
- Perform and analyze patient X-rays and report results to the physician team.
- Be responsible for making patients who come in for procedures feel comfortable and conducting patient X-rays.
- Ensure patients are treated in compliance standards of care and safety measures.
- Will be expected to demonstrate the ability to multi-task by working with multiple patients.
- Must display flexibility by cross training and backing up different positions.
- Responsible for EMR documentation and updating patient information and patient education.
A few must-haves for Radiology Tech:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Tech Program and active license in GA.
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology tech experience in a medical facility
- Must have experience working with pediatrics
- CPR and First Aid certification
- PALS certification
- ATHENA experience is a plus
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Good clinical judgementstrong interpersonal skills resourceful and compassionate
