Assistant Manager The Mitten Brewing Company
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Lead by example in hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Build lasting customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Address guest concerns promptly and use feedback to improve service.
- Train and support staff in service standards.
- Support daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Utilize POS analytics to assist in staffing and inventory decisions.
- Help track labor costs and sales trends to adjust operations as needed.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Act as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) when needed.
- Assist in hiring training and coaching staff.
- Foster a positive team-oriented work environment.
- Support scheduling based on business needs and labor efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication between FOH and BOH teams.
- Use Slack and meetings to keep staff informed.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to align staff with daily goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer engagement.
- Ability to lead motivate and train staff effectively.
- Knowledge of POS systems scheduling software and labor cost management.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume service environments.
- Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays.
