Job Description
The Test & Measurement (T&M) Test Engineering team designs assembles and validates test solutions to be used in T&M Manufacturing facilities to test T&M products at various stages of their assembly process. We are seeking a Test Engineer to assist with the design of these automated test systems.
IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
- Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
- Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
- Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- Prior relevant internship experience
- High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW TestStand Python)
- Analog signal considerations
- Sources of measurement error
- Appropriate selection of instrumentation
- Statistical analysis of data
- Integration of hardware and software
- Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
- Experience with high frequency circuit design RF and wireless communication is highly desirable
