Job Description
The purpose of a pricing analyst is to contribute to the assessment and validation of any transaction process as well as support the decision making and financial success of a company by effectively determining and optimizing aircraft component pricing. Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that the pricing offered is aligned with market and holds the responsibility for analyzing developing and maintaining pricing strategies for aircraft engines and components to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Assisting Business Development Director and department in pricing analysis for a full range of aircraft engine and its components in regard to the trading and leasing transactions.
Assisting BDD to maintain detailed Pricing models and valuation analyses to examine strategic alternatives projected performance and resource allocation.
Ensure timely pricing analysis and briefs for aircraft lease and related business solutions for strategic decision-making.
Review with BDD the transaction documentation from a pricing and commercial control perspective.
Keep abreast of general market and industry intelligence and development as well as internal fleet economics and activities.
Prepare and maintain reporting and presentation materials for internal or external use.
Perform any ad hoc duties and business travel as assigned from time to time.
Interface with multiple business units on highly variable topics and Dynamics.
Take initiative in absence of a direct report.
Any other tasks requested by BDD or other Directors.
- Maintain up-to-date and competitive pricing structures using systems like Quantum ILS and Aeroxchange
- Monitor Competitor pricing and recommend adjustments to align with market conditions
- Collaborate with UAM departments to ensure pricing strategies
- Contribute to refining pricing models and methodologies for greater accuracy and efficiency Qualifications
- BS/BA (Finance Accounting Economics Statistics Engineering).
Advanced Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
1-2 years of relevant pricing experience.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills for dynamic project settings and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multi-cultural settings.
Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving abilities able to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work in an onsite office setting.
Flexibility and ability to change direction.
