About the area
UWA Technology serves as a strategic enabler of teaching learning research and administrative excellence. It provides the technological infrastructure digital tools and support services necessary to foster innovation collaboration and efficiency across the institution. By ensuring the reliability security and accessibility of education technology research systems and professional services platforms IT enhances the overall experience for students faculty researchers and staff. The function also drives digital transformation supports data-driven decision-making and ensures compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity standards. Ultimately IT plays a critical role in advancing the universitys mission by leveraging technology to create a connected efficient and future-ready academic environment.
University IT is building transformation readiness embracing new ways of working and amplifying capabilities in these areas.
About the opportunity
In this key leadership role youll:
- Establish and embed delivery frameworks agile practices and governance models
- Oversee a dynamic portfolio of digital initiatives aligned with the universitys strategic goals
- Build organizational capability across project management business analysis change management and quality assurance.
About you
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Project Management Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in leading project and program delivery functions within complex organizations including resource management.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid) and frameworks (PMBOK PRINCE2 SAFe).
- Experience in design and implementing delivery frameworks methodologies reporting and governance models that enable consistent value-driven execution of technology initiatives.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate will be required by the successful applicant.
