Job Description
Marqeta is looking for the AML Operations Manager to join us in Canada.
What were looking for:
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail and be well versed in the international laws guidance and best practices in anti-money laundering controls
- Bachelors degree; masters degree; or a PhD with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in AML operations within the financial services or FinTech industry and at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Thorough knowledge of AML regulations and compliance standards globally
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in utilizing AML monitoring and sanctions screening software data analysis tools and reporting systems
- Strong strategic thinking and risk management abilities
- Proven track record of fostering a culture of operational excellence
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

When determining salaries we consider several factors including but not limited to skills prior experience and work location. The new-hirebase salary range for this position reflected in CAD is: 104000 to 130000.
