As a Compensation Senior Associate within the JPMorgan Compensation Team you must have a critically important balance of business acumen organizational agility analytical capability and critical thinking to propel initiatives that directly support your aligned business groups.
Job Responsibilities
- Support end to end annual compensation planning reporting and administration involving global coordination across multiple clients and/or line(s) of business
- Continually assessing market conditions and pay practices of compensation plans and programs
- Participate on cross-functional project teams as appropriate to support alignment within the broader Compensation Department
- Provide compensation consulting and thought leadership to business leaders and business unit functions in close partnership with HR Business Partners
- Review and approval of offer packages to ensure the firm is following industry trends and compliance with guidelines
- Leveraging partners and firm-wide resources to achieve desired outcomes efficiently and with consistency across lines of business where appropriate
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of Human Resources Data Analytics or Finance experience
- Exceptional/advanced Microsoft Officeskills; particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong technical skills including the ability to create presentations and analyses to convey complex metrics to senior leaders
- Self-starter with desire to explore concepts and create data focused solutions
- Proven consulting skills; ability to manage business goals through Human Resource/Compensation strategies and address issues/devise solutions with creativity and innovation
- Ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external clients and colleagues
- Well-developed analytical skills; strong planning and project management skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities
